Varma kalari is an Indian Traditional Art of Vital points. It originated in present day Tamil Nadu. It Combines massage, alternative medicine, traditional yoga and martial Arts in which the body’s pressure points are manipulated to heal or cause harm.

Parai Isai or Thappattam showcases the rich heritage of tamilnadu's musical history and folk music. It is the very first instrument which produced sound and is being used still. Thappu is a 1 and half feet diameter round instrument and thickness of 3 inches, made of bull's leather and widely used in tamilnadu, Andhra and few parts of Kerala and Karnataka. Two sticks are used to play the upper parchment of the instrument. It is popular for more than 4000 years in tamilnadu.

Adimurai is a martial art originating in Tamilakam. It was traditionally practiced in erstwhile Travancore and in Kanyakumari Distict. Its preliminary empty-hand techniques are called Adithada and application of vital points are called Varma Adi, although these terms are sometimes interchangeable used to refer to the martial art itself. Adimurai is a portmanteau in the Tamil language where adi means "to hit or strike" and murai means method or procedure. This ancient fighting style is mentioned in Tamil Sangam literature 400 BCE. In modern period it is used with armed art of Tamil.
